Oldies but Goodies Meet Up

Location: Corner Bakery, 14 St. NW, Washington, DC

Join other 30+ year olds who are survivors of childhood & AYA cancer to connect and enjoy breakfast together.

This is an informal volunteer-organized gathering. No registration is required. Breakfast is self-pay.

Express, Create & Heal Workshops

The goal of this session is to help survivors, fighters and siblings (ages 3 - 19) make big feelings a little less scary, provide tools and activities that make sharing big emotions easier, and to create a space for healing and resilience -- all while creating community and having fun!

Rally to the Capitol (now inside the JW Marriott)
​
The format of the Rally to the Capitol has changed to an indoor advocacy session. Anyone planning on attending should meet at the JW Marriott Salon D&E from 2:00 to 3:00 pm.
We will hear from childhood cancer families and a grassroots focused organization. We will also record video messages to Congress and write notes to the Biden Cancer Moonshot. Everyone is asked to bring their phone fully charged and a pen. Also, feel free to bring any signs you have made.

The CureFest Festival will begin at 10 a.m. with kids’ activities in Salon 1 of the JW Marriott. (Games, Crafts, Face Painting.)

Childhood Cancer Shoe Memorial Ceremony (now indoors)
There will be a indoor shoe memorial display consisting of all shoes that have been sent to us by bereaved families. (Approximately 200) Due to space restrictions, we will not include the shoes donated by the general public.
