While the world is focused on containing the unprecedented global pandemic, we believe it is even more important to provide a voice for children with cancer. With this in mind, we are very committed to hosting CureFest for Childhood Cancer in Washington, DC from September 24-28.*We are continuing to monitor the situation and will be making decisions as more information becomes available. Our goal will be to advocate for children with cancer in a safe manner in compliance with the National Park Service (NPS), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and local health officials. We will post regular updates on this site and on our Facebook page.
*CureFest is scheduled to begin on Thursday., September 24 with the Golden Toast reception. This is hosted by the Carson Leslie Foundation and honors our allies in Congress and their staffs. On Friday, September 25, and Monday, September 28, Kids V Cancer is planning to host Climb the Hill Youth Advocacy Days on Capitol Hill.
